Aim
The seminar aims to build basic business writing skills for appropriate language and technique.
Target Participants
The seminar is aimed at administrative or management staff who typically deal with both internal and external written business communication.
Language Level
Participants should already have good upper-intermediate or advanced language skills (CEF Level B2 minimum). For current Cambridge Institut students C-level or Business Vantage is a minimum*.
The seminar provides language and skill development in the following areas:
- Basics of business correspondence
- Business letters
- E-mail communication
- Planning, drafting, finalising your writing
- Choosing the appropriate style
- Dealing with colleagues and customers in writing
This workshop will give you the opportunity to practise the language and skills required for effective written communication in business. You will learn about tools and techniques which can be applied in a variety of business contexts. The workshops are highly interactive, making use of role-plays, discussions and authentic practice activities related to the workplace. Your input as a participant is a central feature of the training methodology.
