World Wide University Examinations
The Cambridge Institut was established in Munich as an examination-centre for Cambridge University examinations in 1961. The first examination session was held in December of the same year to accommodate 100 candidates for the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency examination. Today, more than 50 years later, it runs examination sessions to accommodate approx. 6000 candidates annually for the various internationally-recognised Cambridge examinations. For the last 20 years, the Cambridge Institut's examination facilities, experience and expertise have been increasingly used by some 50 universities and other professional bodies throughout the world for the holding of their distance-learning-course module exams.
