Term-time English Courses

English Courses on Friday Afternoons

An essential companion to what is done at secondary level schools, our English courses are designed for students from secondary schools (Realschulen), high schools (Gymnasien), and vocational schools (FOS/BOS) in grades 6 to 13. Participants are grouped into homogeneous classes based on their school type, grade level, and prior knowledge.

The classes are conducted exclusively in English and led by experienced native-speaking teachers. Our course content is closely aligned with the Bavarian school curriculum.

The primary focus is on active language training, which not only fosters interest and enjoyment in the English language but also enhances and deepens students' academic knowledge.

Our English courses for students are offered both in-person and online. In both cases, course execution depends on reaching a minimum number of participants.

The course takes place once a week on Friday afternoons, either at the Cambridge Institut in Munich or online in our virtual classrooms.

Prerequisite for participation: At least one year of English instruction at the respective school.
