COVID-19 Hygiene Concept

Update 1st September 2022

All our face-to-face courses and language exams are conducted without applying the 2G or 3G regulations.

Wearing a mask at our premises is not necessary. (For external exams conducted here at the institute, other rules may apply).

The CI hygiene concept might change at all times, due to new reguations published by the responsible authorities.

Update 5th April 2022 – No 2G/3G Regulation for Course and Exam Participation:

All our face-to-face courses and language exams are now conducted without applying the 2G or 3G regulations.

However, the familiar hygiene regulations, in particular the mask requirement (see below), will continue to be applied for courses and examinations at our premises (householder’s rights).

Update 9th November 2021 - Air Purifier in all Rooms:

We have extended our hygiene and protection measures for you:
In addition to regular fresh air supply, all our course and examination rooms are now equipped with highly effective air purifiers using H14 HEPA virus filters. This is to ensure the best possible protection for all of us.

The well-known hygiene rules apply to our Cambridge Institut:

Please wear a mask covering your mouth and nose (FFP2 or medical mask) and secure it under your chin when entering Cambridge Institut. Also keep at least 1.5 m distance of each other in the corridors, stairwell, meeting areas and avoid crowding in the reception area.

During class, a mask covering mouth-to-nose may be removed unless otherwise specified by official authorities. During examination, a mask (FFP2 or medical) must be worn. Please continue to observe coughing and sneezing etiquette (coughing or sneezing into the crook of your arm or into a handkerchief).

We request that participants, teachers and supervisors perform the recommended fresh air circulation routine every 60 minutes. Fresh air circulation, by immediately opening the window and door for a few minutes (5-10 minutes), is considered effective. If any individual coughs or sneezes, prompt air circulation should be performed immediately.

In the reception area, the maximum number of customers remains 2. If necessary, please wait at the designated door signs and observe the direction of travel (see markings in the building). Please avoid crowding outside of the course/exam rooms.

We continuously evaluate the current situation and strictly abide by the guidelines and recommendations of the WHO in addition to the authorities in Germany (including the BZgA - Bundeszentrale für gesundheitliche Aufklärung).

The safety and health of our exam/class participants as well as our employees is our utmost priority. We do everything we can to ensure that language training and examinations take place in a safe environment.

In simple terms, this is what we do at Cambridge Institut to follow the Hygiene Rules:

  • All of our staff and teachers are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.
  • Post distance markings and notices to ensure minimum distance (1.5 m) requirements are met on our premises.
  • Provide disinfection dispensers. Located at the entrance and reception areas.
  • Regularly clean and disinfect surfaces in our building. Also ensure that the premises are aired out several times a day.
  • Install protective screens at the reception desk to further protect you and our employees.

What you can do:

  • Wear a mask covering mouth to nose in all meeting areas.
  • Continue to keep distance outside classrooms, and avoid crowds, especially in the reception area.
  • Wash your hands regularly. To do this, rub your hands with soap on all sides for about 20 to 30 seconds and then wash them under running water. Also, be sure to avoid hand contact.
  • Make sure you are not infected with the virus or show any symptoms before visiting the Cambridge Institut.

All courses and exams can be booked from the comfort of your own home - either via our online store or via registration form. You can also pay contactless/by bank transfer. Contact us by phone/email for more information on classes, exams, and other offerings. We will be happy to advise you.

Thank you very much for your support.
