C1 Expert Certificate

A LanguageCert C1 Expert certificate is evidence that you possess the necessary English skills for a demanding academic and professional environment.

You can take this exam online from your own laptop at any time, either in the form of a full test, including all the components, or an individual test - either the written parts (Listening and Reading & Writing) or the oral part (Speaking).

The exam components include:

Listening (30 mins)
Reading & Writing (2 hrs 40 mins)
Speaking (15 mins)

Important update for all LanguageCert online exams:

Effective from 15 April 26, the use of a second camera is now mandatory for all LanguageCertOnline tests, including ESOL and LTE.
Effective booked from 6 October 25 onwards, only laptops will be accepted, while desktop computers will no longer be permitted.
