What is Linguaskill Certificated General?

Linguaskill Certificated General is a computer-based and adaptive English exam by Cambridge University Press & Assessment. It accurately assesses the language skills in reading, listening, writing and speaking according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) from level B1 to C2.

Exam details:

Depending on the language level, the exam lasts between 2 hours 15 minutes and 2 hours 30 minutes. It can be taken on-site at the Cambridge Institut Munich or online/remotely from approximately October 2025. Until 31 September 2025, Linguaskill Anywhere (General & Business English) is available as an alternative to the online remote exam.

Candidates will receive their results within 5–7 working days in the form of a digital Cambridge certificate, which includes their CEFR level and Cambridge score.
