Contact & Directions

The Cambridge Institut Munich is located on Residenstraße in Munich's Old Town. The Opera House, the Munich Residence, Odeonsplatz and Marienplatz are all in the immediate vicinity. Numerous shops, cafés and restaurants around our premises invite you to stroll, linger and enjoy.

Our opening hours are: Mon to Thur 10 am - 1 pm and 2 pm - 6 pm | Fri 10 am - 1 pm and 2 pm - 4 pm

Opening times front desk during August 2026: Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm.

Bank Holidays & Semester Schedule

Bank holidays 2026/27

On the following days, there will be no courses or exams. Front desk will also be closed on the following days:

  • 15 August 2026 (Assumption Day)
  • 03 October 2026 (German Unity Day)
  • 01 November 2026 (All Saints´ Day)
  • 24 December 2026 through to 01 January 2027 (Christmas Holidays)
    (On Tue, 22 December, we are open from 9am to 6pm for consultation and private training, on Wed, 23, we are open from 9am to 4pm for consultation only.)
  • 06 January 2027 (Epiphany)
  • 26 to 29 March 2027 (Easter Holidays)
  • 01 May 2027 (Labour Day)
  • 06 May 2027 (Ascension Day)
  • 17 May 2027 (Whit Monday)
  • 27 May 2027 (Corpus Christi)

 

Winter & Summer Semester 2026/27

The following semester dates apply to all ongoing English evening courses 

  • Monday 02 March 2026 to Thursday 30 July 2026
  • Tuesday 01 September 2026 to Thursday 25 February 2027

All other English courses take place continuously (without a break in August). 

In December we are closed from Christmas to New Year, the course month and fee will be adjusted accordingly.

Courses at the end of the year:  

  • Intensive courses: We are offering a Winter Special - 12 Days of Christmas (01 to 16 December 2026)
  • Evening courses: finishes on Mon, 21 December 2026
  • Kids courses: finishes on Fri, 18 December 2026
  • Private training: can take place until Tue, 22 December 2026

We will be closed from 24 December 2026 through to 03 January 2027 (Christmas Holidays)

Course start in the new year: Intensive courses Mon, 18 January 2027 / Evening courses Mon, 04 January 2027 / Kids courses Fri, 22 January 2027 / Private training Mon, 04 January 2027
