C1 Advanced Exam

The C1 Advanced certificate is recognized worldwide by employers and universities as evidence of advanced English proficiency. It corresponds to level C1 (CEFR).

The C1 Advanced certificate demonstrates that you have the necessary English skills for a demanding academic and professional environment.

It provides proof that you have sufficient language proficiency to conduct complex research tasks, communicate effectively at a professional level, and stand out from the crowd.

Preparing for the C1 Advanced certificate helps develop English skills needed for studying or working in English-speaking countries. However, it is also accepted for university applications in Germany and Austria.

Cambridge Institute Munich offers both computer-based (CB) and paper-based (PB) administration of the exam. The only difference lies in the method of conducting the exam, with identical content and difficulty level in both formats.
